In the mean time, you can meet a few of my pets..

This is frolic, my first ferret.

Frolic and Frenzy are snuggling up in their favourite sweater.

Andy (or Andromeda), is my horse, my partener in competition, and my best friend. I can't ride much right now, due to an accident last fall, but he's still fun to chill with. He was balding, malnourished, and terrified of hands and whips when he was brought to the stable where I used to ride. His hooves were cracked right to the top, his tail was thin, and you could see every bone in his body. I had never seen a horse in such neglected condition. Despite all this he was willing to give humans a second chance. After 2 weeks, we could pet and touch his face without him spooking. He was as gentle as a lamb. After 2 months, he grew back most of the fur on his back, and he gained enough weight to look like a normal healthy horse. I've had him for 2 years now, and he's a top show hunter (under the girl who is leasing him from me). Thanks to the excellent food and care he's been getting at his new boarding stable, his hooves are no longer cracked, his coat is thick, his tail is full, and most importantly, he's very happy.

This is Saidy, my dog.
She is a four year old "puppy" who thinks she's a lapdog, and is generally very happy about everything. A little too happy sometimes,... her tail can clear an entire coffee table in less than a second.
Saidy was born in winter, and is absolutely crazy about snow.

These two are Raine and Shine, my foster ducks for a summer. We take in one or two ducks a year, most years, from the local bird sanctuary. (By "we", I mean I take care of them, and my mom puts up with them living in the house). At the end of the summer, they are returned and released (if possible). Sometimes they can't fly, because someone has cut off half of their wing, and they become permanent residents of the waterfoul sanctuary. It's so secluded, that even us volunteers don't get to go there.
Shhh! Don't tell mom they're swimming in her salade bowl =)

I also have a bird named Kiwi, a third (very pudgy) ferret called Pandamonium, a dwarf rabbit named Eclipse, and a 10 year old Chinchilla named Elmo, who are not pictured above.
